Aerostructures Team
Responsible for designing, manufacturing, and assembling the rocket’s main structural components, including the body tube, nose cone, fins, and couplers.

Payload EE/CS Team
Integrates all electrical systems, sensors, and onboard payloads inside the rocket.

Vehicle MECH/EE Team
Focuses on integrating the rocket’s propulsion, deployment, and mechanical systems alongside the necessary electrical wiring, circuits, and power management.

Telemetry Team
Designs and manages the real-time communication systems that relay flight data from the rocket to the ground.

The goal of this team is to launch a liquid propulsion rocket using nitrous oxide as high as possible. The engine of the propulsion rocket will be entirely student-researched and built.

Education is primary among our many goals at SOAR. Our guiding organization, the Tripoli Rocket Association, recognizes three levels of certification, each authorizing the rocketeer to launch ever more powerful rockets.
